Oh my god this is amazing. It feels so faithful, and I'm only in Dungeon 1! the only downside is I wish it'd tell you how to use things like Boomerangs and the like.

I never played original Legend of Zelda, but big fan of original Doom. Accidentally stepped onto this mod and played it. Truly interesting piece of modding. Difficult through likeness with original, I guess. For some trouble moments was forced to go and see some guide to original Zelda. Probably, would never finished game without help.
Still, it was very interesting experience, and I strongly recommend this one.

I found this mod a bit ago and decided to try it out for a minute, but I didn't stop playing until I beat the game. It's a surprisingly faithful recreation of The Legend of Zelda while still having a Doom-like gameplay style. I also think that the decision to be able to destroy walls without bombs made for better game flow in the Doom-style.
