Sequel to Knights of the Old Empire 1 - Awakening. Twenty years into the alternate future you see the Republic and Jedi in a time of change where Unity and Democracy are two different things. Family or Tradition are tested as many more youngling are given to the Knights for training and many padawan, jedi knights and even masters are leaving the Jedi for the Sith Knights. The Knight's have formed a federation of systems known as the United Systems that seeks galactic security and freedom. The republic is crumbling under the better life promised and given by the Sith Knights and the Unity. But that all is about to change with one unprovoked and dastardly attack on Revan City on Korriban.
So as far as i am concerned the Republic's ships are all complete.

I know the Jedi are part of the Republic but... I can't help but notice a Dark Side Vide in that Shot.
Yes the Jedi Order is a little darker in this era. Reverting back to being self-managed and not controlled by the Supreme Chancellor and the Senate. This also led to the return of the Revanchist-like divide in the Jedi. Those who think the Sith Knights and the United Systems are a blight on the Galaxy and those who see the "possible" threat of the Sith but follow the code and support the Knights' desire for peace.
So most of the council and many masters are only involved in the war to defend the Republic, while others like A'Sharad Hett have joined the secretive True Republic group in their goal of a Republic controlled galaxy.
The True Republic in my mod is a secret political group of people in all kinds of positions all over the Republic from senators to Clones. The result of all the chaos and corruption of the Clone Wars not ending with the designed New Order. They are the real leaders of the Republic.
IMO if Palpatine didn't form the Empire then the Republic was doomed to destroy itself. You cannot have a Diplomatic Government without Corruption and the Republic was more corrupt than the USA

If you were to compare everything that is known about Palpatine and his rise to power, with that which is actually known about the man calling himself "Barak Obama"'s rise to power, you would find more similarities than is comfortable. Lol...
The Republic put all power into the Supreme Chancellor plus he used the Dark side to manipulate the Sanate.
The US government has Checks and Balances. The President has almost no power to change anything without going through the popularity contest that is Congress, Senate and the corporations that control them.
I don't hate any president, I hate the position. Leader of a country that has no control over what happens in it.
