This is a re-creation of Doom 1's first episode: Knee Deep in the Dead. You are a space marine, and of the bravest, one of the strongest, and one of the most brave in the universe. About an hour ago, you base got a message from the base on Phobos, one of the moons off mars. "We require immediate military support. Something fragin' evil is coming out of the gateways! Computer systems have gone beserk!" Since then, all attempts to establish a connection to either moon base have failed. Since your group is the only military group for 50,000,000 miles, your sent to investigate. Your buddies arm up, you grab your .9 mm, and they go into the base. You stay behind to guard the perimeter and secure the ship. Hours go by.... You start thinking to yourself "What the F*** happened to them?". You decide to go into the base with only your sidearm. As you walk into the doors, you hear a voice over the radio saying "If there's anybody left, if you can hear me, get the hell out of.."

Im sick of people complaning about the mod, it being pointless and that bulls#*, so I made this instead of kicking them in the balls.

OK, i'm going to start off with legal reasons first. When ID Software released Doom 1, they released its first episode, Knee Deep in the Dead, as shareware. Because it is shareware, any one is allowed to take any content from it. So what we are doing is 100% legal.

2nd thing on the list: This mod "being pointless." This mod is not pointless, its sole purpose is to bring back Doom 1 on the GoldSRC Engine, with new content based off Doom. People say that the source port, DoomsDay, seriously upgrades the look of Doom 1. This is true, but still looks like hell, and not everything is in its blocky uniqueness. Plus, its multiplayer is dead.

If there's anymore complaints about legal reasons, this being a pointless mod, etc, please write your complaint onto a piece of paper and throw it in a ditch, because neither I or my team give a flying s*&^
Then i will go "THIS IS SPARTA!!" on your a#$ (as shown in the preview picture)

In fact, Doom I is Abandonware, you can do what you want with it as far as i know.

would making custom mappacks for this mod that are remakes of the other map chapters be legal?
