Our goal is to re-create the first episode of Doom onto the GoldSRC engine (Half-Life engine.) We have four mappers, 2 modelers,  and a coder, along with me trying to figure it out. We are going to include the Doom monsters (zombies with guns, imps, etc), the weapons from it (the chainsaw to the pistol) and we are going to attempt to make Doom Deathmatch and co-op.

Our current team as of 2009-08-11 consists of:

IMPCNRD (coder/mapper)
reaperreloaded703 (Coder, Mapper, and modeler)
Decer (Animator)

As far as mapping, we are done with over 50% of the mapping, and as soon as I can record videos, I'm going to make a video comparison of the old E1M1 in Doom with the new E1M1.

As far as models, we have 5 first person weapon models made, plus the Doom Marine model made.

And as far as coding, we haven't really done much. We have nearly all the information for coding the monsters and weapons, except for projectile speeds. We are also thinking of new weapon ideas that could work in Doom Deathmatch, like the Rifle that was meant to be in Doom, but was taken out in Doom Alpha.

As for the team, well, we still could use help, mostly with coders and modelers. As usual, if you want to help, contact me on steam (NinjaBunny0)

This has been said many times, but they shouldn't be able to do anything unless the game/mod gains profit, otherwise its just a retarded copyright claim by the developers (eg: then many suspended videon on youtube by retarded reasons)

TakeTwo is suing 3D Realm's and will probably gain the Duke IP.
By the way Duke Nukem Forever was not canceled.
They were near completion, that's why TakeTwo is suing.
