In the Middle East near the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers, there stand two rival nations claiming to the the true heir to Sargon's legacy. Both sides have differing political beliefs but both are ruled by rival families. The McCloudists of the McCloud Empire believe in constitutionalism and freedom. The Genivoryyists of the New Smolensk Empire believe in absolutism and tradition. Both sides fight over their ancestral home in hopes of becoming the true legacy of Sargon.
