WEEK 1 | 2/10/16

Alright, I'll say this: the forums will be where small updates are posted. When larger and more substantial content is ready, I will post an article on the main site.

As of now, I am working on the variant skins (as in, the game considers them separate dinosaurs) which will appear in Jurassic Classic.

The below Gallimimus and Triceratops are based their appearance in Jurassic World.

Gallimimus | Jurassic World skin

Triceratops | Jurassic World skin

That's basically all for this week. Currently, I can only post renders of the skins. Screenshots will arrive when all the dinosaur skins are prepared and I can begin work on the dinosaur models.

WEEK 2 | 6/10/16

Introducing more content which will appear in Jurassic Classic.

Pachycephalosaurus - JW

Jurassic World's Pachycephalosaurus is a bit larger in size than normal Pachycephalosaurus and the finished model will reflect this.

I have a rough draft of the new species in the mod planned out. There won't be many, as the skin variants make up the majority of the new content.

Am currently working on special trees and a more vibrant environment. The special trees will be placed like buildings and may not be deletable.

WEEK 3 | 12/10/16

Metriacanthosaurus

Metriacanthosaurus skin is shown on Ceratosaurus model.

WEEK 4 | 19/10/16

Acacia

Special trees will not be placed with the tree tool. You will have to place them down manually like buildings. Additionally, dinosaurs will not recognise these trees as food. This system is crude, but it's the only way to introduce 'new' trees, even if they aren't functional.

Some of the special trees will be modified to emit fog. These trees will be deletable.

WEEK 5 | 28/10/16

Bad news: the plantable trees cannot be made to emit fog.

Good news: look at the images below.

Fountain | Lava Fountain

Raptor Statue | Raptor Hologram

The Lava Fountain was a simple thing to make, but it's something I really like. The raptor statue and hologram need further work, but I'm pretty happy with their look so far.

Also, I screwed something up. I made 13 unique signboards with the Tombstone model. It turns out that the details on the signboard are not visible because of how small the Tombstone model is.

Maybe the camera angles will be modified to fix that, or I will remove all but one signboard and try out other things.

WEEK 6 | 3/11/16

Elaphrosaurus

Elaphrosaurus is a new exercise exclusive dinosaur. The image above shows the skin on the Dilophosaurus model as its model is not ready to show yet.

WEEK 7 | 11/11/16

Edmontosaurus | Redone skin

Edmontosaurus has been redone. This design is based off the Anatosaurus design from Saurian.

WEEK 8 | 19/11/16

Testing the JP and JW Triceratops. JP Triceratops is a little dark . . .

WEEK 9 | 27/11/16

I am most definitely behind schedule.

TLW Stegosaurus, JW Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus. The TLW and JW stegosaurs hold their tails differently from each other.

WEEK 11 | 17/12/16

Progress is slow.

This is the Visitors' Centre, a building that will not appear in the mod. It would have been analogous to the Jurassic Park Institute building that was planned for the game. It would have been a prerequisite to research and DNA extraction, and an educational tour would allow visitors to tour the building. As neither function can be restored, the Visitors' Centre was removed from the mod.
