Set in the 1750’s The English countryside is under attack, rumors circulate of a huge beast, a vicious creature that stalks travelers and hunts then down, farm houses attacked and livestock slaughtered, trade caravans found in ruins, horses and drivers alike torn in half, bite marks as wide as the length of a mans arm. The only other clue to the cause, tracks leading back off into the forest only to disappear without trace.

The one thing i never understand is tucking muskets in clothing though as o me it does not seem functional

No I have never understood that myself but this is a quick concept and all in all I belive he will have something along the lines of a gun/axe combo, axe head on the end of a very basic and strong blunderbuss/rifle.

Not one with horns though. They didn't actually have those. Basic leather/metal caps with some face protection. Similar to the left concept there (Without the googles, since those wouldn't fit over/under the helmet).

Lol no worries it will remain Russian in theme and I know, the horns on the helmet are such an oddity.
