So far I have been working on mods the last... four months (Perhaps less) and I have created three mods. In my last mod (Danish Viking Units) I challenged myself with starting working on 3D models and texturing. Now after that mod is done I wanted to start a big project which I decided to be Iron Hill Dwarves from the movie The Hobbit 3: Battle of the five armies. To you guys who just LOVE the Tolkien Universe or just LOVE The Hobbit I am sorry, but this mod is not going to be 100% accurate at all. This mod is going to cotain some models and textures that I have created and thought would look cool (This means that weapons) I have done some research when it comes to Iron Hill Dwarves gear. Some of it easy to find and some of it... Impossible. (Which means I have created the model 100% without anything) The armor parts is going to be as accurate as possible.

To begin with I am working on the leg part. Then I'll work on the upperbody part and then the shoulders. I'm not sure, but I think I am going to make the armor armless. I am not sure I will be able to create an armor with arms that are able to follow the animations of the game...

I think I am starting to figure out how to do the upper part. Can't say if its going to be good or bad, but at least I am starting to get some ideas. xD

Description

Right now I am having trouble with the commander helmet... So I have decided to take a break with the helmets and start on the hardest part of the project... THE ARMOR!
I have never made an armour or even considered how to do it. So this is going to take a lot of time and paitence. But hopefully its going to be alright.

This picture shows the armour I am being inspired by.
