Hope you guys all had a good long weekend! Now, to make this weekend even sweeter, we’ve got a huge news update for you all!
Now that the mapping competition is drawing to a close, it’s time for Isotx to host a new tournament. Based on our experience with the game day tournament, we think this one is going to be an absolute blast, no pun intended. We’re in the final planning stages of our Joe vs. Pro tournament, where expert Rahmos players chosen by the Isotx staff will take on all comers every Saturday for three weekends, beginning on April 21. Prizes will be awarded, and it should be a lot of fun. Come show us your skills as an FPS player!
In related news, the Mapping Competition is now over. We’ve gotten a number of submissions, all of them very good and displaying great effort on the parts of the entrants. We’ve narrowed the selection down to six maps: IG_Deportation by David, IG_Dreadnought by Monkfish, IG_Durus by Irreal, IG_Enmity by Bhones, IG_Lucid by Fritz, and IG_Karthos by MadGamer. The staff is currently deliberating on the winner, and soon the maps will be available in a special map pack. At the same time, they should begin to come online on servers and become available on Serve-O-Matic. If you play the maps, please be sure to give feedback to the mappers so they can be perfected!
And, because I always like to have some real eye candy, here’s a video clip I made of Iron Grip 1.5’s new GUI in action. RTS fans rejoice!
