The game takes place in the feudal japan era, where demons roam the land in search for power.
This power is the form of a jewel, the jewel of four souls.
When the jewel is in the hands of evil the jewel becomes corruupt granting its wielder power, but if the jewel is in the hands of good, the jewel becomes pure.
The jewel itself has been shattered into peices, and now its upto you. Do you seek the pieces for power or to stop those who seek it in ill will?
