When Max Payne 3 was released, a lot of people liked the intense gore that was included in the game. Today, I thought, "Hey, it would be a great idea to make a mod that increased the blood of Max Payne 3 to the next level." So today, I am releasing, Intense Gore for Max Payne 3. pretty freakin awesome! Only downside is that the wounds work on your player as well and can be pretty immersive breaking when Max is casually walking about with 50 massive bullet holes all over, nonetheless, it's freakin brilliant and playing on the max difficulty may make it more "realistic"

when i install it the blood texture looks weird and the bullet impacts arent how you show them is there anything im doing wrong.

I already reset it to normal but the bullet impacts weren't big and had a weird bright looking texting on them and the blood that went on the ground looked like the top and bottom of the texture were cut off and they were also bright cartoon red.

Hmm, that's surely not what the mod has. I recommend reinstalling the game (verify game data in steam if you use that) and installing the mod again.

First you gotta install OpenIV (and Max Payne 3 if haven't done). Second in each file folder there is a readme file to install the files at in the directories. Open the program OpenIV and click the Max Payne 3 button. (follow the instructions to get the directory of Max Payne 3). Then follow the directions in each of the file readmes. So bloodfx.dat and bloodsplat goes into common.rpf/data/effects and the fxprotjecx.ytd goes into the pc.rpf/textures directory. In a few hours i'll make a tutorial and post on youtube and here so that if you still don't understand how to install the mod, you can watch the video.
