Insurgent Strike is a realism mod for Battlefield 2,that was founded in early 2008.Our main goal is to provide the most realistic experience our team can provide, while keeping the game fun. All maps will have full SP/Co-Op support also.Community input/feedback is important to us so please visit our website and sound off. Insurgent Strike is mainly centered around current day combat in the Middle-East against Insurgent groups, such as in Iraq, and Afghanistan.Though the mod also focuses on combat against militia groups, such as in Western Russia. As this is a realism mod, factions, kits, vehicles, maps, and everything in-game has been adjusted to be as realistic as our development team can make it.Though we still try to keep the game fun.We use our Military advisor's knowledge, and our knowledge,of the military, weapons, and current day conflicts,to deliver a fun, realistic combat experience through Battlefield 2.
Please note, this is an old version of the M1A2 skin, the alpha channels have been fixed,so it's not so shiny (like you can see on the hatch),and the black around the end of barrel has been removed.
:D enjoy!
I kind of like this the way it already is :(
can you add CROWS system to the turrent? Cuz I think that's also part of it ;D
Nah, It'd be unfair to have one on a tank, plus it's a rarity on heavy armoured vehicles anyway.
We had CROWS on it actually, but ended up having some small issues with it,and took it off..It might make it back in further along though, who knows. ;)
yea k, but make sure you add thermal sight and a M240 on the top as well ;D
and does the reactive armor means a RPG wont do any damage to the tank when hit the side, but the armor will disappear after an attack?

just for reference, im seriously interested in this mod,and i see future in it, cuz u guys are taking the right direction, which is not to compete with PR, which is one of the biggest mods on the planet
The armor will not dissapear after an explosive hits the tank.I know it would in real life,as the reactive armor panels are designed to blow out and meet the incoming projectile in the air,a few feet away from the tank. But in BF2 it's just not possible to make it dissappear. The reactive armor being on the tank does however make it much less vunerable to RPG's and grenades.
And thanks for the kind words masterchiefbill !
