This mod replaces the original models from the game by other ones better and more movie acurate ,the models are from different Star Wars games,Mostly from the cancelled Battlefront 3 hope you like it
I grew up with these games on the old PS2 I'm glad someone is also a dedicated OG real SWBII not that EA **** making improvements to the classic
While it does have a few issues (no mod is perfect) I can say without a doubt it is worth downloading. I can guarantee it is worth your time. Thank you Javi, Harrison and Cal for your phenomenal work
I wanted to give this a better rating but there's just too many odd design decision in this mod. Some models just look really bad or have clear issues like Darth Vader's helmet and his gloves. These are mostly issues with heroes thankfully but it transfers a bit to some troopers like the Imperial Snow Troopers and how there are now Republic Commandos. Sprinting has also been changed, when you sprint the camera zooms in instead of zooming out. But the biggest issue with this mod is the textures on troopers are all horribly compressed and low-resolution. It's so bad that the vanilla side textures are actually less blurry. The best way to see how bad the quality is to just play as the regular Clone Trooper in third-person and look at the upper back (actually just look anywhere but that's where I notice it's the worst). From what I can see these textures were taken from Garry's Mod Workshop, which is baffling because the textures from those mods aren't even close to the level of blur seen in this mod. I understand optimization is needed, but if you're gonna reduce the textures to the point where they look worst than the vanilla textures, you might as-well not advertise this as a HD mod. I've even watched many Youtube videos with people using this mod and it looks just as bad as mine. It gets even worst when every-time you sprint the camera zooms in instead of zooms out like in vanilla. Sadly I doubt I will ever give this mod a higher rating because it looks like this is a intended design decision to cater to those with PCs from 2005, since it has been like this at the first offical release of this mod.

There's no reason for not having this mod installed... The Improved Sides Mod just enhances the Vanilla experience in every way possible to make every single Character Model more HD and more similar to the actual Movies! If you haven't installed it yet, you missing a ton ;)
