Killstreaks for beta version Thread - Icecold Warfare mod for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

The killstreaks will be selectable (hopefully).
Currently working on the menu for that.

3 KIA

• UAV
• Counter UAV
• Supplydrop

5 KIA

• Airstrike
• Predator missile

7 KIA

• Helicopter

8 KIA

• Stealth bomber

10 KIA

• Emergency airdrop
• Blackhawk/Hind

11 KIA

• AC 130

25 KIA

• Nuke (without game ending effect) !cut for now!

What does that nuke do if the game dosen't end? Will it kill everyone?

Yup, only kills everyone.
I decide that cuz I heard many bad reasons about the game ending effect.

I wonder how the care package would drop on maps like killhouse

I didn't know but on most maps it 'll work fine and on Killhouse it have a little chance to drop to the ground.

I think there's too many killstreaks(no offence you did a great job making them ). Like whet you get helicopter you only need one kill to stealth bomber and after that 2 kills to Emergency airdrop, Blackhawk or Hind then is the AC-130 that will blow the whole map... I'm just saying that too many killstreaks can ruin the game, like in mw2 case.

I've seen much Mod's with to many killstreaks and it's kind a annoying, that's right.
But I think selecting three killstreaks like in MW2 is kind a good.
So people who know they arn't that good can select e.g. UAV+Predator+Helicopter and players who know that they 'll get easily 7 kill with only using weapon can select Helicoper+Emergency+AC-130.

Ok, that's good. I thought that you get all the killstreaks(fail )...

ah will be great if u can add dogs from cod waw and cod black ops... but its very difficult right? scripting and animating all that things...

As you remember dogs are in CoD4 already. I don't know about scripting, may the scripts from WaW usable...

yeah i know that dogs are in cod4 already but u just must waypoint the multiplayer maps for make them run and calculate the damage, speed etc...

I'll see, I also thougt about some Blops killstreaks but currently I don't have the time for that.
