Here's a little concept idea for adding a in car camera to hsr toggable with one button between thirdperson and in car, we tried it out on our bmwm3 first.
Doesn't really look that great to tell you the truth, but it looks promising. I hope the game features more views than this.
Now that's what I call ugly.
custom gta3 cars have better textures than that:|
this doesn't look to good, but I prefer 3rd persion driving anyway;) and the 3rd person pics look alot better

Though, I also like third person better for driving games.
