Advanced mod: Revived is a Home World 2 modification that specializes in taking the 2 existing races and expanding upon them. The idea, is to add in multiple different new ships, re-arm every ship in the game, and specialize each ship with a blended, but still clear role. By giving the player more options, and doing it in a professionalized manner the mod "advances" the gameplay of Homeworld 2 into something different, something more fun, and yet still tactically fulfilling.

Description

Rebalanced ship prices, armaments, damages, and build times. Updated Homeworld 2 campaign to Advanced Mod standards. Made custom new UI for menu, and background. As per usual, normal bug fixes.

This is by far my favorite HW2 mod and I tried almost every single mod out there, I want to try the SP and see how difficult it is ñ_ñ. Thanks for an excelent mod and Happy New Year !!!

Thank you for the compliment, I really do try to make this mod stay within a sense of "reasonability" (excuse the made up word there) and fun. Good luck on the SP BTW, its no where near impossible, but it can definitely cause stress.

hey sorry to be a pain i downloaded the 1.4.big and did the usual put it in data folder then make a shortcut then add the string to it but i have double and triple checked and everything seems to be fine. But all it does is play original homeworld anything i am doing wrong?

nevermind lol when i thought what if i try renaming the mod file to see if that makes a differance i realised i typed "AdvanceMod.big" not "AdvancedMod.big" im such a noob XD

Hi Dondelium,
I'm playing the SP campaign and the game is freezing in the last mission, the Siege of Hiigara.

It's happening for me 3-5 minutes after the start of the deprivation attack. Then I have to close the program using the task manager, so I don't have any log to prompt.

I can't finish the campaign.
