Hi all, and thank you for showing interest in our project. We promise that this is not an April fools joke. In fact we had a short public demonstration of the gameplay and the executive editor here at MoDDB (stenchy) actually came down and saw. We haven't released a lot of content so far because we felt it would be better to release things about our game incrementally so that you all have a much bigger reason to come back and visit.
I'd like to add that we've changed our release date to a TBD purely because our school is closed temporarily and many people are enjoying a 2 week break away from work on this project. We also are in the midst of adding features such as the colossi being playable by a player. Though the date says TBD, we work very fast and I could only imagine we'd only take another few months with all the developments planned and in motion. Our mod has been in the works for about 6 months now and we already have a great deal to show for it (once again, we'll be showing things incrementally though).
I would like to note that I've added discussion forums for regular members now so feel free to drop by our message board. Our website will be up soon but you know how it is when everyone is on break. Many of us go home and visit family....leaving us with computers that have none of the software we need!

The original release was April 1st. This however was before we knew the interest the public had for H.U.N.T.
Now that we know the feedback we received is positive the team agreed to stick together for more development time. We will be able to implement even more great features that we spent time working on.
Also we are preparing for Theelans.com in November.
Will the player-controlled colossus, and regular colossus, be separate game modes?
Because they'd have a different feel, I think. There'd be more an air of cooperation and teamwork with the NPC colossus, but the same with a dash of competitiveness and aggression with the player-controlled colossus. Well, that's my theory..

Very glad to hear that you guys are going to spend some more time with the mod! I was very excited when I first heard about this one, stay focused and don't loose your vision ;-}
