I should have this all ready in about a few days so stay tuned, what put me back was some personal things, the music for the mod and setting up the new scene ingame. It kept crashing while I was in the editor but I finally got all that sorted out days ago, then I had to attend a job interview and observe for two days for hours on end that left me with barely any time. I quit that anyhow and then came the music, I already had that all set up but when I came to test it out the music never played so I had to rename and copy the files over a dozen times. I had to name everything the way they were in native so instead of my planned 13 music tracks (28.7 MB) I had to settle for 61 music tracks (125 MB) which are mostly duplicates so they will play in the mod.
Now I just need to make sure everything is working right and then I'll upload it in the coming days, I also have to add all this stuff into warband which should take long.
Yay,updates, thanks Xpearse,I am glad someone is still making Zombie Mods. HOTD is actually pretty fun,and cool.
Thanks, glad to hear it.
Can't wait to download and play 1.6 :D
I like your H.O.T.D mod and I always enjoy playing it.
Now I feel like I'm in heaven because the new version is coming!
Glad you guys are waiting for it, just wish I could get this music working.
I have heard all you need to do is replacing .ogg files in the Music folder. For example if you have file "tavern_1.ogg" in your main folder
(on my PC it is: C:\games\Mount&Blade Warband\music [here's .ogg files])
then you must copy and paste this file to your module folder
(C:\games\Mount&Blade Warband\modules\H.O.T.D.\music). It will be OLD tavern music.
Now you must compress NEW music which you want to replace OLD tavern music from .mp3 to .ogg and change its name to "tavern_1.ogg".
Now replace old music there and I think you should hear NEW music while entering the tavern :)
Similar to every single other files.
I'm not sure if it should work but that's what I heard from my polish friend who is modder too.
That's what I did and the game still crashes where the music should play.
Ah yes, you must also find "module_music" in the "module system".
In the "module_music" you must find the correct line, for example
("fight_1", "fight_1.ogg", mtf_sit_fight|mtf_sit_ambushed, 0)
then you must match the flag mtf_module_track. This flag must be matched with every single track which is in your H.O.T.D.\music folder (not in main music' Warband/M&B 1.011 folder)
Now run "build_module". It should now works.
Already did all that before and it still crashed, im not even gonna bother but the music is in the download so if anyone can fix it then go right ahead because I don't really care anymore.
