In this dark millenia danger lurks behind every corner, and it is the holy duty of the Inquisition to guard and purge the threats within and without the Imperium. Take the role of Malachias Kane, Young Inquisitor under the command of Lord Inquisitor Dante, warring agains the notorious Chaos sorcerer Bathomeos. It is your mission to rendevouz with allies, and deliver the final piece to the plan to bring the Chaos scum under the Emperor's hammer.

Hopefully these will be a little better than just "flashlights". The books always make them just as lethal as a normal autogun, but not as much as a bolter for obvious reasons.

Great model work anyway.

Yep, Lasguns will be lethal enough against soft targets and light armored ones too, no worries there. Anything less than a tank can be brought down with enough shots in the right place. Personally I think the lasgun has way too bad rep for a weapon, its just that some targets shot with it have so badass armor they can resist it, but they could take shots a from heavy cal machinegun too for example...

Its a focused chemical based high power laser ... trust me it burn through soft targets like no other. When compared to real modern day weapons & physics its got the same damage capabilities similar to that of the NATO 5.56 or 7.62x51mm based weapons. Its only considered weak since everything else in the 40K universe is incredibly overpowered :P

nice model, but why arent the muzzle brake type things slanted? thats kinda the defining feature of imperial lasweapons in the 40k universe

:D It seems to be gun week for me, for the 2 days i've had time to model, there's now 2 guns to show.

So, here is a Las Carbine for PDF guards to point around. Nothing too fancy, but compact and easy to maintain. :D Enjoy!
