This submod for HIP adds a new start date: 732 - After the battle of Touars. I decided to make this project since I haven't seen any other submod that adds any date before 867 and is available. It is still a fairly basic version (probably with a few bugs), this means that: It does not contain flavor events - For example, a Saxon revolt against Frankish domination - Or that "old-fashioned" cultures are transformed in French, Spanish or Lombards. Or events to access the throne of the kingdom of the Franks being Charles Martel or Pepin the Short (Or any member of the Carolingian dynasty).

A LOT OF ERRORS.. took a look at the Byzantine Empire. Exarchate of Ravenna is missing also Crete, muslims in Sicily, the border territories in Anatolia. All fixable. This is just a few examples. I could help if you need it.
