With the Original Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Game, a lot of content was cut compared to the console version. Among the cut content was the main orchestral mixes for most of HP2's music which sounded more elaborate in the Prisoner of Azkaban because computers were more powerful and could handle higher quality audio. This mod aims to bring the Music back to be in line with the composer's original intent using the actual recorded soundtrack. It also uses bits and pieces from the Prisoner of Azkaban's soundtrack (direct from the sequel's game files) that have a similar time length and sounded the same. Some mixing to align the new tracks to the original versions were required (in the case of some of the main soundtrack mixes) to make sure this enhancement is accurate to the game's mixes for playback ingame.

Description

The zip archive contains the music folder intended to replace the original folder located in the Game's main install directory. The easiest way to locate your game's install directory without approximation is to go to the shortcut that opens the game and look for the "Target" text box that the shortcut uses to execute the game in the Properties dialog box if you right click on the shortcut and select Properties from the list. It will be going into the directory directly above, in hierarchy, to the "system" Directory.

How do you know the alternate takes used in the console version were Soule's "vision"?
