This mod aims to replace or improve textures in game with new high resolution work while retaining the original feeling and color palette of the game. Characters in game will be given much higher variety of uniforms, equipment and decals which will allow for much deeper experience for those who want to revisit the game or play it for the first time after long time. The textures are redone using original ones as base whenever possible (most are still nice and have at least basic realism) to retain original design, but all textures are upscaled to twice (or more) of original resolution, sharpened, and have decals either redrawn, or replaced with as much reverence to realism as possible. In effect the skins are extra realistic, but also don't look out of place - everything is done as to not ruin the original scene background and color palette that has been developed specially for SPR and MoHAA.

afrika korps officer cap were feldgrau not tan,there should be greatcoats appearing in the first mission since its near an ocean and night time

Well from what I know in Afrika Korps they didn't use officer visor caps at all, only the officer version of desert feldmutze. But to retain better recognition and uniqueness (they had khaki officer caps in original game) we decided to give them Luftwaffe visor caps just with field-modified Heer insignia
It's possible to change around the characters' hats and equipment if it bothers you so it's not a big problem

As for the greatcoats indeed they are in there in high numbers :) the guards who patrol the seawall are set to always appear in greatcoats

Hello, a small update just so you know I'm not dead :) Due to having less time than I anticipated I'm still moving slowly, but that means still moving, nonetheless. A big portion of stuff I did so far is non-graphic so can't be shown on screens, but now here's a pack of small updates that were done in the meanwhile.

On screen you can see some of these small updates that are mainly adding previously missing things and fixing problems that users here mentioned. Thanks to previous feedback I fixed the error with Airborne textures - now 101st Airborne uniforms no longer have the american flag decal on arm, instead, the decal properly went to 82nd Airborne that were lately added. Player will meet them in game alongside 101st in Bocage and later they will star in Breakthrough missions.
Airborne as a faction got an overhaul altogether, as new and improved hi-resolution textures were made, with differing color variants too. Also new equipment was added - camouflaged helmets, frag grenades, knives, holsters etc (credits for these models go to Band of Brothers mod crew).

Similarly, Afrika Korps textures were also updated, brought up to higher resolution and with new equipment decals (on screen you can see updated gold-colored "tressen" for NCOs), and also new character model visible on screen is added - soldier with tropical high boots. Those will be alternative models to standard low boots ones for officers and NCOs, randomly chosen in missions.
Also on officer you can see added glasses, that is also model from BoB mod crew, it will be added to characters in singleplayer such as high-ranking officers, medics and german scientists, similarly with certain random chance of occurence.

Last screen is rank variety for german infantry, there will be new textures for soldiers with differing ranks - here it's Gefreiter (one chevron) and Obergefreiter (two chevrons). The ranks will also most probably be randomly chosen in missions with certain percent of probability.
