Don't forget to check out the Patreon page for regular updates! ||| Status: Released - check IndieDB for download link ||| Hedon is an entirely original game (running on GZDoom Engine) designed by me (broadly known online as "Zan"), throughout the years, first as a concept/fantasy world, and thanks to the Doom modding community - an actual thing in the works. I'm an artist/fresh game dev who aims to go for as much original content as I can, including graphics (which I entirely draw from scratch in Photoshop), level design, coding, story, sound effects etc. in order to create a whole new game which tries to revive the long lost art of FPS design.
Felt like popping up the latest sprite sheet I've drawn, along with the initial sketches. Here's a video of the first sprite speed paint ~ Youtube.com

So I take it, on death, her spell-book reclaims her body and soul in exchange for all the power the book bestowed upon her during battle?
That's a pretty cool concept!
Yep, pretty much.
Her upper back looks kind of strange for me for some reason. Maybe her chest makes my brain think it's bigger than it is supposed to be. I don't know how to describe it.
It does appear the slightest bit off, from the back; her breasts don't fit with how small her shoulders and thin upper back are. I see it too.
*No hate on the spriter/sprite itself though. Zan_HedonDev - It looks cool! Consider it friendly, hopefully constructive criticism.
Her chest is bent forward so the shoulders look narrower in perspective. The reason why it looks off is that I forgot to adjust her head's size, and make it smaller/further away from view. The big head is basically the culprit here. I've fixed this now, thanks for pointing it out!
I've also fixed her buttocks overlapping :^)
Weird, it wasn't even her head that I was looking at; and all obvious jokes aside... Her shoulders were the most obvious thing to me. Maybe it is just the hunched pose. You're welcome, I'm glad I could provide some help.
