WWII was filled with super weapons from all sides of the war, however very few are touched on in Hearts Of Iron 4. Wunderwaffe aims to bring in the theorised, and sometimes constructed, wonder weapons from all sides in the war to Hearts Of Iron 4. The major nations who have Wunderwaffe tech trees are Germany, UK, Soviet Union and Japan however the main focus will be on Germany for the early days of the mod.
before ypu ask questions about the mod, read these first.
Each of the previously stated nations will have their own section of the Wunderwaffe tree that only they can go down. Each tree will contain new equipment and vehicles, along with tech that gives major bonuses. The Wunderwaffe weapons are supposed to be end game, so your enemy should struggle to compete with your super tanks if they don't have wonder weapons of their own however the mod will be balanced enough to give people a chance. For example, Germany's landkreuzer p. 1000 ratte will easily smash through enemy lines however they will be incredibly expensive to produce and vulnerable to air attacks making them a costly unit.
The mod will edit existing focus trees, add new events, and add new political advisors to aid in the research and construction of wonderweapons. It will also to make some changes to other unit stats to make the impact of wonder wpeaons even more visible and vital. The focus tree edits will add focuses to the major nations to allow them to fully get their wonder weapon war machine spinning and the events will add some extra flavour to the game.
Their will be new techs added to help with combating wonder weapons, as well as a few minor game play mechanics to give them a fighting chance. Tech will be added to extend the end date and supply nations with better missiles, jets and more.
No. Nuclear Aftermath is a total conversion mod, so I can't release a playable version until most of the mod is done. Wunderwaffe is a lot smaller, and I can release version very early in development. It also isn't as complex to program as Nuclear Aftermath.
The war against the Soviet Union is failing, if the red army do not fall soon then Germany will be unable to fully defend western Europe. Its time to release the Wunderwaffes. Germany's Wunderwaffe tree covers two areas, ground and air, each area providing war changing technologies.
The air section of the tech tree provides Germany with the Horten class fighter and strategic bomber. These advanced Jet aircraft are not only fitted with the latest technology, but they also follow new innovative designs that allow them to avoid enemy radar

Horten XVII
A joint effort by the Luftwaffe and the Wehrmacht to get the already devastating Die Glocke into the air using the power of zero gravity. This is the ultimate German weapon.
The landkreuzer will halt to Soviet counter attacks and push back into the Union. With this, Germany may be able to try a Kirks 2.0! There are two types of LandKreuzer Tank, the Super Tank and the Artillery version (p. 1500 monster). Although the Monster is researched after the Ratte, they are separate units and one does not upgrade to the other.
