the story is basically that during the russian civil war, the white forces decide to build up in ukraine and retreat from the russian conflict, this larger force meant that the soviets were unable to crush the ukrainian army just like how they failed to destroy the polish army, this creates a large anti-communist movement in the US who then funds massive defences in ukraine to deter any further soviet aggression, other nations such as germany, romania, britain and france fund the nation which also leads to an ecenomic boom in the country. ukraine also has a large population due to white russian soldiers who didnt want to live in a communist nation aswell as all religious people who saw it extremely anti-religious.
