We will be working on concept arts, the story layout, the characters and our custom monster the whole night. Make sure not to miss any news and track this mod! Winter holidays are coming in soon, and I suppose we will spend most of the time to develop this custom story! We look forward to present you this experience! That's also a way to make a story I suppose. I personally think of an idea and create the maps while developing my original idea.

I'm pretty sure that your way is also good and effective. But since we suppose this will become a massive pile of work, and we don't want to mess it up, we want to organize it a little :D
