City 17 remains the same large city. You - the one whom have taken hostage, without meaning that this city is full of cruelty, a strict colony and the most important.... There is no freedom.

Just from what I've seen, and I'm commenting here because this image shows the best example of it, your maps suffer a bit from poor lighting, and a lack of detail. For example: In this image, there is no light creating strong shadows anywhere, even though the time of day shown (dusk) would generally create a very warm, angled light. I'd really think this map would benefit if you put a couple more hours into creating some interesting lighting within it. Also, as far as detail is concerned, the map gives off a feel of having detail, but it doesn't do it in such a way that makes it look professional, which is always the ultimate goal. It's hard to explain this one, but I think you should add some extra brushwork here, add more dimension to the buildings, add some other platforms, make the ground have multiple different levels. Things like that could really, really make this map come alive a bit better. So if you really want to make this look a lot better really fast I can send you a message detailing some changes you could make fairly quickly. I'd post them here, but this is already an obnoxiously long comment.

I see. Well, if you would like, I'd be more than happy to edit your maps if you sent them to me. I'd do the best I could to keep the original feel of your mapping, but I'd also be able to polish them up, and hopefully make them a little prettier.

I'm not asking for any money at all. I don't want to get paid, I do this for fun. I'm just saying that if you email me the .vmf file, I could load it into source, make it pretty, then send it back.

I just want to express my view.
I see the mod on very early stage of developing.
Just a recomendation - post only HIGH quality screens on moddb, because for today hl1 style mapping is unnaceptable.
The developer need just more practice to get maps feel realistic
Well i am Russian too, but i works with hammer editor since 14 years old, now i am 23 and i think i achieve something...
And yeah, i working on project alone, expect of soundtrack.
Example of mine work:
Moddb.com
Yep this is corridor mapping example, but it it feel more real that a big location full of blocks.

Lol,
First, I deal with the hammer no later than you, at 14
Secondly, you, too, Russian .... excellent! I'm happy for you, but the problem is not that I do not have practice .... I already wrote that I'm not a jack-of-all-trades, it would be better to write in a personal message about help or something like that .....
But I do as I can, and what I have in my power. And I do not need to write and say 10 times to see these lessons on the hammer. I understand perfectly well that I will not achieve anything, but what you have achieved is not necessarily to be told here.
