GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGG, it is ILLEGAL, you must PAY to get hl2 content, thus it is only legal to publish hl2 edited content if it is for hl2, same reason why hl1 content may NOT be ported to hl2. it is copyrighted, Try to release a ported model from hl2 to hl1 on FPSB, hlc, hit,... and see what happens.
Yes. It is completely illegal. However; Valve seems to be pretty nice about these things. I don't think they will give these guys any crap. Legal or not.
