Command an army of Humans, Xen, or Combine into battle against other players online or against AI opponents. Each race has its own distinct strengths/weaknesses, special units, and quirks. Every player should be able to find a race that suits his/her style of gameplay. Familiar characters from Half Life and Half Life 2 will be integrated into the game, such as Houndeyes, Vortigaunt, Combine Soldiers, and even the Nihilanth.
