No, there are two teams the Hazardous Environment Exploration Team or the Black Mesa Military Security force. Upon choosing your team you will spawn in your respective area with weapons relating to the team you are on. For example the HEET will spawn with BlackTech weapons whereas a military grunt will spawn with the standard 9mm Submachine gun. Apart from the weapons you spawn with there will be 12 new weapons in HLTB as well as the original HL ones (Check the screenshots page to the left for pictures of the new levels and weapons). Any or all of these could be randomly strewn around the map in which you are playing and can be taken from dead bodies of comrades or enemies. If you find yourself in the position where you have a weapon you don’t want but your comrade does, then just drop it at their feet. Look below for other features.
