Looking into the open sky like that ain't good. If you're unsure what to build there how about some huge sort of water drainage system.. 2,3 larger blocks with some pipes attached to them which pump water down that chasm.
Or simply some walls embedded to additional rock. The terrain itself seems awfully flat but that's only a minor thing in my opinion.
It misses plants such as bushes, cactus etc.

You have to make cliffs less blocky. Try to use complex shaped rock-brushes, do not afraid to overlap them. Also I recommend to try JACK (formerly JackHammer) in which there are built-in rock-primitives.
I'm using JACK, and i know about this "rock" function, but it took me some time to discover this :D
