In a world where HD and UHD packs for a 1998 game no longer make the cut, sprouts a small seed of hope. Half-Life: R will replace all viewmodels with updated versions, based (conceptually) on the default SD- and HD-content, including sounds and animations on a new arm rig. Because I can. It'll be hella rad.
Uzi mag conversion to make the shared ammo pool with the pistol make sense. Yay or nay? Why? Original (and current) version: Moddb.com
It does make a lot more sense, but it really seems off to me, probably because I'm so use to the original gearbox hd model or m4s in video games in general. Looking at it more though, it kinda starting to grow on me. Not trying to push you to do more work or anything, but maybe put it in as an alternate skin for the m4? If thats not an option, I'm gonna say yay to this. Great progress on the mod btw, gets better by the day.
It actually does makes sense but Nope (? I guess it's because i got used to the ordinary mag
Makes sense, but I don't like it.
Will you add an MP5 as an Alternative?
Moddb.com
Nay
Nay, it looks odd. Would make more sense if you were using an MP5 instead of M4.
In fact, this would make a nice optional, having an MP5 option with the shared ammo :)
It doesn't make sense, since in Half-Life the Mag for M4/MP5 is 50, the UZI-mac make it looks unrealistic.
The magazines that the original MP5/M4 use can't hold 50 rounds in real life, so it's unrealistic either way. Half-Life was never big on accurate depictions of firearms to begin with, so the aim here is to only make it slightly more sensible.
I'm for the idea myself, but if it's not too much work, I think there should be an MP5 as an alternative. It's always good to have more options.
looking good, but you should change the mag, it seems you used the one for the mp5.

still, it looks silly and the fact that is supposed to be a m4a1 makes it worse
Fair enough, just pointing out this actually is a thing, and what it looks like irl. Point taken
I say add it in as an addon option (sort of like a doom mutator). It makes sense but hey, I guess we're all accustomed to the HD pack 5.56 mag.
Yay
yes
