Gordon Freeman awakens amidst the wreckage of a downed helicopter. The Combine is ruthlessly hunting him down. Continue the Half-Life storyline where Episode Two left off.

Will there be a Kraken Base location, like the Arctic base seen in the transmission in EP2 where Hunters attacked Judith?

It looks very cozy, which Alyx and Gordon would be thankful for, I'd imagine. ;)

You should release a news article about your thoughts and plans on the story-line itself, maybe get some input and critique from us, your watchers?

Hey,

As much as I would like for you all to know what the story for the mod will be, I feel it would be a shame to spoil any of it. Instead, I will be releasing more screenshots as well as videos that will hint to where I might be taking the story.

Alright, I guess you know what you're doin'.
I just really don't want this mod to turn into that fail of a HL3 mod known as 'the Closure' due to lack of plot-story direction, but I will interject my own thoughts of a potential HL3 plot, it should involve a prototype of GLaDOS that we accidentally wake up and tries to kill us, Alyx accesses an Aperture Interface that plays the 'Aperture Science theme' and then the Borealis malfunctions and teleports everyone and some advisors to the border world Xen, and we fight our way to the Combine Overworld and learn what the Combine are being lead by, the ego that guides the body, the brain of their empire... and with the help of non-hostile Advisors that resist the Combine, it is taken down completely, and something happens which bridges the story lines between Half-Life 2 and Portal 2.

But I'm sure whatever you plan, will turn out just fine if not better than our ideas.

I think it's too much for Episode 3, you know. Maybe for the HL3 it will be fine, but not for Episodic part.

This isn't the official HL3/EP3, however, can't the developer do what he/she wants, such as using both EP3 and HL3 plot-elements? Technically this could even be EP3 and HL3 in one, that is if they'll make a continuation to this. Doubt it, but who knows?

That's exactly how imagined the enterior of Borealis should look like!

Wouldn't an icebreaker research vessel look more industrial, contained, less open and less luxurious? maybe something like Old Aperture in the 1970s.

Agreed, it does look a bit fancy for a science vessel.

How do you know it's the Borealis?

This is simply my longtime glimpse from my imagination, when I was like 11 years old and thougth for some reason that some of the upper Borealis decks (where are the highest crew memmber and major scientsist live at) should look like this. I mostly agree with yours suggestions.
