When I'm remaking some of the HL2 maps, I try to add some slight improvements, kind of an HL2: Improved Edition!
Just generally stuff like HDR, fine tuning the lighting, adding small dust particles, etc.
This is a screenshot that shows all of that, without spoiling the game too much.
