In Outcast, the wasteland has scattered areas of Xen Infestation of varying severity. Here's a moderately infested area found near a large body of water on what was once a lakeside pavilion in the mountains.
the more I look at Xen flora infesting Earth, the more I realize how much more fitting this scene is for the title Half-Life 2.
