Vector Prime is a Star Wars-themed modification to Haegemonia: The Solon Heritage. Its timeframe encompasses an era from the end of the old republic to the might of the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant. Playable "races" or factions are the Rebellion (later New Republic), the Galactic Empire, and another faction - pirates, civilians, bounty hunters and other indpenedent groups that have always had good influence on intergalactic politics. The modification also incorporates a random map generator, built into the game's launcher for easier functionality, unseen before in the Haegemonia series. From an extended galactic environment to the tactical mastery of the Jedi of the New Republic, you will find Vector Prime to be much more than just a simple graphics modification. Admiral, consider re-thinking your strategies before the next operation.

Ooh this is what I've been waiting for! Wonder if it'll be as ridiculous as the Sins of a Galactic empire version.

Not sure what you mean by ridiculous, but this is what it's going to look like, if I get lucky with the texture mapping (Haeg does not warp textures), with some additional light maps.
Note that TSH's nature of handling weapons does not allow it to be as huge as it should be. To be precise, this has to do with weapons ranges, so we'll have to double test this ship if you want to have it functioning.

Well the Sins version is pretty godlike in the newest release. It can take on small fleets without losing it's shields. It holds something like 12 squadrons of strike craft. You can send it in alone to subjugate defended planets... which is a much bigger task than in Haegemonia. It can single-handedly defeat larger fleets than it's possible to get in Haegemonia. So it's fairly overpowered, which is compensated for with it's huge cost and long build time. I think it's actually to scale with the other ships too.

Of course Sins doesn't really have animations as such so it's a lot easier to create gigantic things with tons of guns. The weapons' fire just comes out of some place on the model.

This video has some footage of an Executor slaughterfest. It's from an older version but it still gives a good idea.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to the resources of the previous developers of VP, so gun/turret models are unfortunately a "no" for the executor in our mod, too.
As for animations, the previous developers could not add animations to any of the models, if you have a look, they don't fall apart when destroyed. I can make animations - check any of the new models, like the gallofree transport, or the luxury liner. However, I am not sure about animating this big boy - it would really look nice, but as I did not build the model itself, the topology might not allow it to be easily broken up into several parts.

As for balance, the ship will not be a wonder weapon - or at least we'll try to make it defeatable. Remember that in VP you also have access to cloaked spies (they fly Lambda Shuttles), and that fighters are also effective against capital ships. Size will also have to be constrained because of weapons range issues (possible adjustment of weapons ranges are a possibility) - but if all goes well, we might be able to tackle these problems.
