I am getting crashes after either a few minutes or a few hours, it depends on the game's "mood". Also, I found that there is an issue with the mod: two boat models are black, and I found a fix on a GTA forum to fix it, but I still have issues with crashes. Is it because I have my draw distance turned up or something? Seems to crash when there are a lot of vehicle models or pedestrians, and when I turned down them the crashes seemed to go down a bit, but they didn't stop 100%.
This is just getting really annoying to even play the game because there is a risk of losing progress constantly. I don't see this issue for people who just use normal mod without RE3, their game never crashes. Is it just the decomp causing this? And if I remove the decomp and just start playing through the normal EXE, will I have any issues (save corruption, etc)? I just want to beat the game and move on.
I was getting constant crashes too, but this seems to work. Alternatively you can use the amd64 build, but that one uses OpenAL which won't play the modified radio stations because they are mp3 stream inside a wave container.
