i am glad i could help out by pointing out this lava lexture to you, it's a shame only 1 of the 2 is animated (it scrolles to one side), the other texture doesn't, but that is ok.
and it is indeed a shame that displacement can't be moved, i myself also have had some problems with that, and there is no solution for it. other then try to make it in brushes and then parented them to something moving, or change it in to a door_func or something simular.
those headwaves are indeed a nice idea, i myself also use this lava texture in one of my latest maps of my new ep2 SP-mod. never thought of adding those headwaves, but i will add them too, thanks,

Sorry, No Combine until later. A few headcrabs, but there wouldn't be any Combine in this adbandoned mine. All the Overwatch forces are preoccupied fighting the Rebels above ground, there's no reason to waste resources maintaining a garrison in a zombie-infested tunnel system. There used to be a overwatch outpost, but they've since been relocated or killed off long before this mod takes place, so you only see remnants of their tech. Once you reach the surface, you encounter some Combine which triggers the whole conflict in City 17.
So you're saying i'll get to roast some headcrabs then?
You might be a bit busy avoiding the lava yourself. ;)
