Grimm Quest for the Gatherer's Key is a Hack and Slash Fantasy game with some platforming elements that leans heavily on extremely bloody and satisfying gameplay. Nice. IMHO the ropes need some bump mapping.
I have a feeling there is Bump maps & normal maps for the rope. You just can't see it because the light direction.

Yes, there is lots of bump and parallax working in those ropes.
The current angle doesn't do it justice, but then again the rope wasn't the focus of the shot. :)
