Hey Vic7im,

I've downloaded your new patch from the 26th of December but now whenever I try to load a save or start a new game, the games crashes with an Acces Violation.

Then a new window pops up saying that ''Gothic II has stopped working.''.

I've already tried a clean install but I keep getting the same annoying ctd. Furthermore, before the game crashes, the loading bar is continuously white.

Do you have a solution for this? I love the mod but now it's all but impossible to play.

Thanks!

I too had this problem, I set "Gothic 2.exe" to run with administrator privileges and in compatibility mode (win XP, SP2) and it did the trick

I've tried your tip and sadly it doesn't work for me. I've set the gothic starter to compatibilty and ran it with admin privilege.

And still, I get this damn error. Getting pretty sick of it, to be frank. I just want to play the damn game :p

I've tried a re-install too but now I can't install the system pack because the path isn't found. I give up..

Any help is most, most welcome!

Anybody else that has a piece of advice?

So, anybody else got any bright ideas? :p

you said that the path isn't found on system pack .... did you set the location to the gothic folder ? it must be instaled in the gothic folder

solution yes - delete the files you should delete, which are written at the patch 1.3.

try renaming your gothic folder to Gothic II

@Foxiver: I've tried that during my latest try but the acces violation remains, sadly.

@Uldis75: Do do I do that? Just right click ''change name''?

yeah change the name of the folder and try installing systempack afterwards

Will try that tomorrow and I'll let you know how that's turned out. Thanks, friend!

Got it to work after downloading and re-installing everything. Thanks for the advice, gentlemen; I appreciate it!

try to browse the desired folder i guess Program Files\GOG.com\Gothic II or Program Files\Jowood\Gothic II and try installing the system pack
