This is a mod that the pirates ahoy Gof teem has been working on for Age Of Pirates 2: City of abandoned Ships. It builds upon the Combined Mod V 3.2 It is incredibly life like, true to period and very addictive. We have added, redone or recreated over 100 ships, many items, places, actions, hero's and the interface of AoP CoAS. There are more recently popular characters included as well as previous characters re-textured. It is the CM mod on steroids and it is the perfect Age of Sail/Pirate/New world simulator. enjoy!

Time to plan for the future, we need to make larger sums of money and looting ships is not been as profitable as we had hoped.

Oh boy would you look at that, it looks like Holland have said enough is enough and sent some rather intimidating ships to look for me. So i think i will accept defeat and run away as fast as i can, if it was just a Frigate then i would happily have traded cannon fire but not when their is a Heavy Lineship and more importantly a Light Man of War with her.

Seeing that i had plenty of time to concider my position and i was near to the rocks surrounding the pirate hide out at Bermuda i decided i would use them to my advantage. I would draw the Frigate in and try to capture that ship while the bigger ships would have a their work cut out trying to aviod the rocks and catch me at the sametime. Looking at the distance between al the ships i would say that the Frigate has at least 400 yards gap back to the Light Man Of War which should be more than enough for me to swoop in and board the Frigate and sail away.

We lost about 10 crew as we approached the Frigate and a further 70 crew in the boarding battle. But we captured the Frigate, we will keep the Merchant Brig as a escape goat because the Heavy Lineship was able to get a lot closer than we would have liked. We have no idea what calibure or type of guns she has mounted but we are expecting them to be at least 32Ibs cannons or culverines which for a Merchant Brig will be deadly and for a Frigate wouldn't be much good as we would most likely loose a mast or two and then we would be screwed.

Its a good job we didn't want to keep that Merchant Brig because what was ment to be a temperary captain has just sailed her straight into a rock. Very clever captain and now i can see why i was appointed captain in the first place. Anyway we are going to leave her and the captain to the mercy of the Dutch which will most likely resault in a watery grave for both captain and ship.

We have been spending the last few day's trying to build our stealth up, but this fleet was worthy of a battle because we want a merchant ship and the Pinnace will do. I am thinking of having a change of scenery and take advantage of one of the nations. Yes smuggling, do you know how wealthy you can get from doing that. It beats loosing crew all the time and paying for ship repairs, so i am trying to save up the money to buy a 90 day trding license with one of the nations and then its off to buy some goods to smuggle, should be fun i think.

We had taken a mast down and killed half the crew before boarding. The ship was very easy to capture, now we have a Pinnace that has a cargohold size of 4000, deduct the supplies, guns and ammo and we are looking at about 2200 units of free space. Just depends on what calibure we mount, most likely it will be 4Ibs which would allow for more cargo space that the estimate above.

I think its time we started hunting in a new waters because between Bermuda Fort William and Turk Island their has been very little activaty. Most of the fleets have been to large for me to attack or to well protected for me to try and attack. I need to find a fleet to attack because i just spent 28k that was towards the trade license, the robbing scoundrals.

Ah thats better, a fleet to attack and a chance for the captain of the Pinnace to get some much needed practise in naval battles, so he will be left to deal with those small ships. I want the leader of the pack the Dutch Fleut, she might even be added to my convoy. Just depends if she has a nice cargohold or if not how much of the goods i can carry, i will find that out soon. For not full speed ahead or is that sails, ahh speed sounds better.

What, i loose a lot of crew for 8Ibs cannons. Well i have one thing to say to that, kill them. Kill them, kill them all. We will get revenege for all those who died no ship will escape. No one aboard those ships will survive to tell the tails of this engagement or will they?
