C&C Generals Universe USA alpha 0.1 ver is ready for testing.
Parachutes, dosers, carpet bombs, upgrades, ranks, oil storage, etc. were implemented. Maps Included.
In the alpha version, unit veterancy levels work in test mode. In the game against bots possible departures (game crushes).
If you have identified the pattern of departures - write about the problem in this topic or a personal message to me, in the next version I will fix everything.
Installation:
1) Install a clean version of C & C 3 TW 1.9 and run it at least once to customize the game profile.
2) Unzip the archive with the mod in a free folder
3) Copy the Generals folder to about
C: \ Users \ YOUR NICK \ Documents \ Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars \ mods
If there is no mods folder, create it yourself.
4) Launcher, Core and RetailExe folders are thrown directly into the game directory with the replacement of all files.
5) Patch the game to use 4 GB of memory (CNC3.exe and cnc3game.dat) using 4gb.exe
6) Assign the -ui parameter to the shortcut of the game in the properties on the desktop
Example
"D: \ Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars \ CNC3.exe" -ui
7) Start the game from the shortcut, the launch menu will appear. Choose to view the game browser -modification.
8) Press the Generals button, play
Attention! 4 GB patch not compatible for online play in the original game.
Language: english
For bots, select the USA_AI fraction, the type is neutral. A different type of behavior can lead to a quick game crush.
I will not answer questions like "why the game crushes", because I don’t know. This version is issued for open testing. It's a demo.

Hey there. This alpha looks interesting, but do you think there is a way that you could rework the mod so that the "Generals" folder and everything else needed to run the mod can be put in the C&C 3 "Mods" folder? Because the way this mod is installed makes every other mod unusable, as well as the base game.
There is no such way. But you will help try to copy the original game to another folder.

First: when u click to build something the dozer should go and start to build, instead to wait to press the building.
and 2nd, when the building is done, if u don't move the dozer u see this.

Game crashed on start. Probably because my cnc3game.dat cannot be patched by these 4gb thing.

loooks promising! but cannot get this running. Once I start a game I only get = your army has been defeated. Any clue what might cause the issue?

Seems good... but an issue, I cannot see my mouse? Thats pretty weird.. and why so more.. Flare for graphics? Seems overkill and offputting. Its a grea idea as the C&C 3 engine is so much better... but I can't get past not seeing my mouse.
I have a question, maybe someone will help: is it possible to turn off the flash on explosions?I mean only the extra flash that's in this game, not that can not see the explosion because it's great
So I found free time and quickly installed the game ( I have original) and I did everything as described and unfortunately in the game I have to choose only normal buildings as are in the original game. What could I do wrong?
It's hard to say without knowing the order of how you install mod.

i can't figure out how to do the 4gb part with patching the two files... Anyone able to help me? I just don't quite understand :(
