PS: We are thinking about using the hangars from the unfinished BFIII models to make this one with open hangar. Opinions on that, please?
I do like the look of the BF 2 providence but I wish they'd have modelled the hangar, on one side it makes sense to close the blast doors during battle but on the other hand occasionally you have to ditch common sense if it's about something so iconic that the ship just isn't the same without it. I also want to say that this could use some window lights, maybe like this: Media.moddb.com Doesn't take a lot of time but really adds to the ship I think. On the bf 2 model I also noticed that the trench is really low on detail, might be nice to add something there? I'd also experiment with adding slightly more contrast to the texture in photoshop, maybe try 5, 10, 15 and 20 and see if that gets rid of the washed out colours a bit. Those are my general thoughts anyway.

The washed out colours is due to the fact that I changed the texture resolution from x2048 to x1024 to optimize... So thx for the valuable recommendation anyway
Perhaps you have the hanger doors open and close as you send out fighters ?
Well, it's possible, we haven't decided yet, as it's not that iconic as in the case of the Venator, but it's an option :)
