Gangs4Life (G4L) is a total conversion mod for Splash Damage's Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, which uses the Doom 3 Engine. G4L immerses the player in an intense online never seen fun experience. Set on the 1950’s ( though it is totally fictional ) , Gangs4Life simulates a war between two special gangs that encourages the use of teamwork and strategy to destroy the enemy.

This project is currently on hold because there is not enough people to finish it. ( actually it is me alone that works on this project and I can't complete it without any help of others ) So, if you are still interested to keep this mod alive and become true then post an application immediately. You still can see that we're looking for 3d modellers, animators, sound creators ( not music but gunsounds etc ... ) texture artists and so on ... To remind you about something, I'm also making a map for ET:QW which is called Wake Island, formerly known of BF1942 / BF2 and it some reworked version. ( Only terrain is actually the same ) The story goes like this:

Quote:The Strogg have invaded Wake Island ( Hawaï ) , which was deserted after World War 2. The strogg found this place a good hidden spot and placed here a portal to get back to their large spaceship. The GDF found right on time that the Strogg have taken in the island. The Strogg are just starting to make a fortified base to develop an improved Stroggifier on their spaceship which later on had to be moved to the earth.The GDF must fight their way to the spaceship and destroy the Stroggifier before it can be used to produce new armies of Stroggtroopers.
