FUEL: REFUELED is an enhancement modification for the game FUEL, which brings multiple bug-fixes, improvements and the addition of various new content.
What happens when you apply the tilt feature used on the bikes in this game to a muscle car? ... Well this.
The changes I've made now gives certain vehicles the ability to essentially take off onto two wheels when accelerating from 0 before returning to normal driving. It works in the same way as the bikes in the game, i.e. moving the left thumb-stick on the controller downward (or whichever the keyboard equivalent is) will tilt the car back and you can do a wheelie off the line :D
Secondly another change grants vehicles access to hydraulics to essentially force rock backwards & forwards the vehicle. When it comes to quad-bikes it basically unlocks the controls so the user is able to lean backwards and forwards physically, it obviously doesn't have that much effect (a quad is heavier than a bike), but there is at least a small noticeable effect rather than a restriction.
All of this actually requires the user control, and only effects a few specific vehicles (where I believe it is appropriate), however as always, there is a provided optional mod to disable this. At a later date there will also be an optional mod to give all vehicles in the game these changes, but that will take time and I don't think it will be ready in time for Patch #3.
The whole objective of this exercise was actually to unlock the ability to lean backwards an forwards (and have a physical effect) on quad bikes. The changes I managed to make to a few muscle cars are a bonus :D
