First of all: congratulations for the release! I'm really looking forward to try the results of your hard work, even though it's first beta. Unfortunately, the mod doesn't seem to work for me for some reason. I've: > disabled REFUELED v.14 (EXTENDED) in JSGME When the loading comes to the point where the notification about progress saving is shown, the game crashes after you press "enter". I suppose I did something wrong Is the MODS folder containing something critical for the game, aside from being used by you? I mean, maybe I deleted some vanilla files with the folder, not only v.14 mod. Also, should I start a new game for proper mod work? Maybe that's the reason of a crash. Upd2: game works fine with v.15 deactivated. Upd3: checked the game with v.15+debug, same crash. Upd4: checked the game with patch 1 only, works fine. Upd5: unpacked v.14 MODS folder back (just in case v.15 is not cumulative), unpacked v.15 with overwrite, enabled v.15 in JSGME - same crash after notification about saving. Upd6: changed Live account (probably some stuff in a savegame is conflicting with v.15?), didn't helped, same crash. Upd7: disabled v.15, enabled v.14 extended, works without a crash. Upd8: enabled v.14 (non-extended) for the first time, works without a crash, so the absence of a crash is not related to extended version differences. Edited by: bac9 |

Hey - if its crashing at that point it seems its relating to a saved game issue - does it give any specific error message? Try removing the saved game entirely (manually from the documents/my games/ fuel folder) and let me know if that launches. If its a saved game issue then the cause would be having a specific vehicle or something selected. The MODS folder is only used by JSGME for easy install and nothing else, so deleting all of it wouldn't make a difference. Its obviously worked fine for me on a stock install on this machine - I'll wait to see if anyone else reports any issues, and that should help narrow down what the problem is. In the mean time I've got another desktop here - i'll install the game on there and install the mod to double check. |

Nope, only the standard Windows crash dialog is displayed, like this one: As I understand, FUEL doesn't have any kind of logs and/or specific bug reports (like BugTrap), aside from messages for simple cases like "your hardware is not supported", right? It's pretty hard to find the reason of any bug without those (
Didn't helped, same crash happens. Edited by: bac9 |

I've just installed the mod on a clean game install on another machine and it works ok. It may be an issue relating to your game installation (unless anyone else reports any issues), try reinstalling and see if that fixes it. Before reinstalling you could also try installing the mod files manually and see if that fixes it - as it may be a certain file conflicting or preventing the proper installation. |

FUEL doesn't have any log system and those "hardware is not supported" messages actually stem from GFWL or securom who are just being difficult. ---- Drag and drop all these files into your fuel folder (overwrite) and then install V15 mod. its various stock files and other stuff, it may be a V14 file isn't being deleted for whatever reason. Didn't helped. Game works fine with default files from this archive, but the same crash still happens after v.15 install. D-oh, I'm reinstalling the game Upd: Doesn't work. I've reinstalled the game and installed v.15, same crash ( Upd2: I've managed to launch the game by replacing every file with original backed up version and testing them one by one. The file in question was VehiclesParam.tsc: the game launched successfully after I replaced it with the original version. So, what should I probably do now? Edited by: bac9 |

This is odd. I don't know what to suggest. Um ok, I've packed all the files from the directories I've edited into an archive - Rapidshare.com < try this. If it doesn't work then I don't know :S. Alternatively from a stock install you could try installing files in stages. This is just the user interface stuff ^ etc. If this doesn't crash it then its one of the game files. 2. install the param folder (this should also not crash it) 3. Install story /> poi.tsc and mischallenge.tsc (these shouldn't crash it either) 4. install either vehiclesdef.tsc or hubinfos.tsc < and let me know if either then crashes it. Are you using an English language copy of the game btw? (I haven't translated any language files so it wont work in other languages. ) Update: hang on a sec - I will look at that file. |

A quick look identified one possible issue (there was an additional handling param (but strange it didn't effect anyone else or me) - try this Rapidshare.com |
