V15.4 - Patch #3

Vehicles

  • Disabled the blue 'nitro' flame effect on all vehicles by default, optional mod provided to re-enable it.
  • Individual custom color support via mod manager, an alternative to custom color palettes.
  • VehiclePP files divided up so that optional mods such as "Drive on Water", "Disable Nitro" and "Invunrable" do not require constant updating and can be installed without conflicting with one another.
  • Handling stats for road bikes fixed to show correct values.
  • Fixed a rear wheel height issue (it floats!) of the Superfly.
  • Fixed wheel height issues of numerous other vehicles.
  • Unlocked ability to attempt a wheelie whlist driving the "Twin Freaks" Bike.
  • Unlocked ability to attempt a wheelie on most quad bikes. 
  • Deathgrin given an overall slightly higher ride height.
  • Certain muscle-cars given the ability to perform a wheelie off the line.
  • Certain muscle-cars given hydraulics to rock the vehicle back & forwards etc.
  • Revised damage/durability values for several vehicles in aid of balance. 
  • Revised weight values for SUV's (increased). 
  • Reduced the off-road resistance for numerous ROAD vehicles so that the minimum achivable speed is slightly higher (40 to 50MPH rather than <30 to 40MPH).

Career Races

  • Custom Career Races now supported for both offline and online play. If you install custom races and replace the stock ones, then you can still play the stock tracks online that someone else is hosting. 
  • Several improvements to various Career Races.

General

Free Roam

  • Reworked several tracks to prevent buggy AI or simply fixing stupidly placed checkpoints.
  • Revised environmental parameters to give better visuals.
  • Revised Zone unlocks (better configured for playing at normal difficulty)
  • Option to enable Easy Zone Unlocks (i.e. requires less stars)

  • New Vehicle Selection for both Online and Offline. Now includes virtually every vehicle type in every race, limited only by performance class. Races are more balanced and more fun.

  • All pop-up intro texts are now in sentenced case and not all capitalized. 
  • Revised the various introduction texts at the start of the game to accommodate for where a feature has either been removed/replaced/improved since the stock game. Such as the removal of the 'switch camp screen' in favor of a greatly improved map screen.

Language

  • The mod, installation instructions, package names and mod manager now are available in French.
  • German language is semi-supported, with the mod being playable in german, however some location names have yet to be translated. The packages are only available in english at this time.
  • Italian and Spanish remain unsupported at this time as no-one has come forward to assist with the translation. 

Demo

  • Demo Support Added!
  • Implemented a revised Main Menu, removing options that aren't available in the demo.
  • Implemented access to script library and added custom content support.
  • Added several new challenges, bringing the total up to 10.
  • Updated the 'read-me'.

Development Tools

  • Version 1.0 of the FUEL: REFUELED Development tools included.
  • Free Roam Extreme Weather editor included. Comes in both basic and extended modes.

Installation

  • Added french localization for all installation options.
  • Added JSGME language pack files for the game's five main languages.
  • Fixed an issue where the mod manager would boot off screen / start minimized.
  • Fixed issues with various installation packages containing the wrong description.

V15.3

Free Roam

  • Removed certain broken race start positions from the game-world that shouldn't have been there.
  • Free-Roam Activities removed. These were removed due to the fact I'm implementing better ones (such as improved chopper chase and free roam extreme) via actual challenge menu.

Challenges

  • All 'Blitz' races reworked with fixed revised checkpoints, timings and vehicle selections.
  • The 'Blitz' in Z17 has been changed so that it is actually a blitz race. Also added is a very small increase in available time to make it fun for all users.

Vehicles

  • Fix for the 'Hydro (D) [ALL]: Trident' lacking the color purple in its color palate.

  • Changes to the vehicle identification system, 1st playable vehicle is now '1' and not '0'.

  • Fix for the disable bloom option not working correctly for some users.

  • Traffic now comes in even more different color shades (Alternate Shades of the Black, Grey and White etc.)
  • 'Free ride' is now to be known as 'free roam'

Auto Mesh & Road Mesh

  • 'FUEL' Barrels no longer spawn on incinerated terrain
  • Many new 'incinerated' objects now spawn in incinerated zones
  • Spawn probability of common uncommon objects has been reduced
  • Spawn probability of 'FUEL' barrels has been reduced, with FUEL x1 having higher priority than FUEL x4
  • Spawn probability of most objects with a probability of 0, increased to 1

V15.0

Free Ride

  • Traffic now comes in different colours (Black, Grey and White)
  • Doppler truck model changed from TRAFFIC_TRUCK to FLOTTE_JEEP_1 + FLOTTE_BIGTRUCK_1
  • Doppler trucks are now colored to represent their type… e.g. green, blue or red.
  • Added working POI’s for two hidden helipads.
  • Various livery points switched to vista points and vice versa

Career & Challenges

  • AI vehicles are more diverse (AI now drives maverick and bonus vehicles etc.)
  • Number of AI vehicles are increased (Typical race has 10, Special has 16)
  • Wider vehicle type selection during certain career and challenge races.
  • Challenge races now allow the player to make a vehicle selection choice.
  • Weather tweaked / fixed on certain races.
  • Fixed various bugged challenges.

Online Multiplayer

  • Wider vehicle selection in online multiplayer career races.
  • “Session Info” now shows vehicle type instead of a list of vehicle names.
  • “Session Info” now shows the zone the race takes place in.
  • “Session Info” now shows the vehicle discipline… e.g. OFF, ALL or ROAD
  • You can now allow 16 entrants in almost all online races

  • Several UI changes and fixes (Mostly updated and replaced text strings in places etc.)
  • Map camera can now zoom in further. (and other minor tweaks and fixes)
  • Debug Mode Force Time Array increased (Now 96 = time in 15 min increments)
  • Firemoor Fields is now ordered before Dead Lady’s Lake in Race selection.
  • Fixed Controller Settings UI text strings
  • Corrected many UI text strings that didn’t make sense
  • New ‘Race Type’ naming scheme
  • Removed loading text on the opening loading screen
  • Removed ‘Live’ branding from main menu
  • Zones are now numbered from 01 to 19
  • Added UI strings that can be called from the vehicle list
  • Changed some of the ‘hint’ UI strings to stuff that is actually helpful.

  • New POI’s for broken Helipads (Offshore Shack and Red Rock Bluffs)
  • New Challenges (Replaces Chopper Chases & Catch Destruction)

* Free ride activities include road trials (Time trial on certain roads), free ride extreme (adds cool weather such as tornados, from every helipad), chopper chases (decent ones.. from every vista point).

I’ll add more stuff as I remember it, but all of the above is included and completed as of now.
