Shadow of Fear is an integrating conversion Mod to the Microsoft and Digital Anvil Futeristic Space Simulation Game called Freelancer. The physical Freelancer content was kept untouched while everything else was remodded. Additional, several new Enviroments was integrated into the Game. This way the player will meet known Places to indetify with but also explore much new content. Shadow of Fear is based on 88'Flak. Nearly 4000 additional hours was invested into the mod, not counting the thousands of modding hours 88'Flak allready contains. The technical achievments of '88Flak was carfully sustained and enhanced by new, perfectly matching and integrated content, using "the Freelancer way" to be explored. I dont know what SOSE means, but the Ship in front is a USO Gunship and yes, you can fly it. And just to say, its well armored. :-)
Well technically it's a TEC (Trader emergency coalition) siege frigate , but USO gunship sounds good too...Oh btw , what does USO stands for?

Well unfortunately I don't play your mod (I would like to)....because this pc is **** , and I really mean **** (the mod doesn't detect 3D and even if it would I don't know if it would work). I do have a problem though (although this is happening with discovery mod I think it'll be the same here)... When I try to enter a server my game minimizes (but it's still running) and few seconds later it reports an error and ***** down. The single player works fine though.
Yeah you are correct, the TEC Ships of Soase are ported as the Capital and Utility Fleet of the USO (United Stars Organization). Allready in the Mod are the following Soase Models:
KOL as USO Battleship/Carrier, Marza Siege as USO Dreadnought, Kodiak as USO Corvette, Cobalt as USO Corvette, Krosov (the Gunboat above) as USO Gunboat and the Javelis also as Gunboat. The TEC Mining Ship, the TEC Transporter and several TEC Stations of Soase are implemented as well. The reason is, i always wanted to fly these Ships, not only move them like in Soase and i love the strategical part of Soase. So it was near to move both games together. With a closer look you also may see some more parts of Soase in SoF.
There's now an actual TEC Corvette, at least since Rebellion. Two, technically, but they're essentially the same ship with different passive status effect attacks. There's some really awesome art of the Shriken/Stilas (depending on TEC faction) apparently in the DeviantArt gallery of the concept artist himself, goes by IgnusDei on there. The concept art labels the corvette as the Myrmidon, but it's the same ship design.
SOSE is shorthand for Sins of a Solar Empire....

Star Citizen.. well...that Question our Teamleader can better answer, but atm we have no plans in this direction.
