Forgotten Hope 2 is an award-winning World War II modification for Battlefield 2TM and is based on the original Forgotten Hope, a modification for Battlefield 1942TM, one of the most popular multiplayer games ever. Battlefield 1942TM featured land, sea and air combat in a way never before seen. It was the goal of the development team to maximize the game experience by adding both a realistic and enjoyable gameplay to FH and now to FH2.
The Mk. III was a concussion grenade, and was designed to incapacitate targets through the pressure and impulses produced when the grenade exploded. The weapon contained 8oz. of TNT and would often throw large fragments of the fuze assembly and surrounding material up to ranges 200m, despite the fact that the Mk. III was not a fragmentation grenade. The large explosions produced by this grenade made it not only successful against enemy soldiers, but also as an effective tool for blasting and demolition. The Offensive Mk. III A1 Hand Grenade was made by Herc and Toddel.
