Forgotten Hope 2 is an award-winning World War II modification for Battlefield 2TM and is based on the original Forgotten Hope, a modification for Battlefield 1942TM, one of the most popular multiplayer games ever. Battlefield 1942TM featured land, sea and air combat in a way never before seen. It was the goal of the development team to maximize the game experience by adding both a realistic and enjoyable gameplay to FH and now to FH2.

You should check out Battlegroup42 for BF1942. Amazing what it does.....
Gives all factions proper vehicles/planes/ships/guns at the proper date. Lots of new maps (with SP support, extremely hard)

I'm not comparing FH2 with BG42, they're both good in their on way. Just wanted to point that out to those who stil play BF1942.

I Like what was done to the airplanes btw, really good stuff.

It also adds a lot of new features, which are both realistic and historicaly correct.

The rear camera view has also been added back into use, to give players an even better view when in combat. It was deemed that the 400m convergence that was added to the aircraft in a previous release was too high of a value. It has now been lowered to 250m by azreal from Eat_Uranium's and Gunnie's original code, to make both air-to-air and air-to-ground combat more effective.
